The World’s First 2-in-1 Outrunner Brushless Motor with Integrated ESC for 1/10 RC Crawlers
Furitek proudly introduces the KOMODO UNITY 10 Competition — the first-ever system in the world to integrate a high-performance FOC ESC directly into an outrunner brushless motor, specifically engineered for 1/10 scale RC crawlers.
This revolutionary 2-in-1 design delivers exceptional torque, ultra-smooth throttle control, and sets a new benchmark for lightweight, compact performance. It’s the cleanest, lightest, and most space-efficient power system ever created for 1/10 crawler rigs.
Whether you’re navigating comp gates or scaling technical rock lines, the UNITY 10 Competition offers a seamless combination of brute torque, precise control, and clean installation. With the ESC integrated into the rear of the motor, it eliminates wiring mess, reduces overall weight, and frees up space in your chassis — all without sacrificing performance.
💬 Real-World Tested by Top 10 Driver Danny Slinger:
“Powerful enough to pull the whole car up on edges… even in high grip situations, the system never lost control.”
“Throttle punch is now how it feels on Rhino ESCs with Holmes 380 or Stubby — even better.”
“Super fast reaction, smooth transitions — nothing too crazy, just the sweet spot.”
A fully unified package that eliminates clutter and optimizes layout and weight distribution.
Silky smooth startup and crawl precision with intelligent current regulation to minimize cogging and heat.
No external ESC. No wiring mess. Just performance-focused minimalism.
Live tuning and firmware updates via Bluetooth — no extra programmer or PC required.
Selectable 5.5V / 7.4V / 8.4V output — powerful enough to handle high-torque servos, and heavy-duty electronics in the most demanding crawler setups.
One of the lightest integrated 2-in-1 systems available for 1/10 RC crawlers — keeping your rig agile without sacrificing power.
Power Output: Up to 280W, 50A continuous / 100A burst
Fits most 1/10 comp rigs and shafty setups with ease

Installed in my Vanquish VRD Mullet with the Vanquish Stubby kit. Fits perfectly. Quiet. Powerful, Amazing slow crawl control. And 4s capable. I’m using it on 4s with a direct power steering servo.
Was excited about this 2-in-1, lower weight smaller profile than all others and its an outrunner. Got everything installed and hooked up. Verified everything was wired correctly before throwing a 3s battery on it. As soon as I hooked the battery up, it went up in smoke and burnt all the wires running to the receiver. Idk if it was wired wrong internally from factory or what but it burnt up FAST. I'd advise to buy different setup until they figure out what there issue is.
Very disappointing. Installed and tested out briefly on my couch. Motor became very hot (about 200°) less than a minute in. Started smoking and the esc kept restarting. Not worth buying.
Still testing it out. It definitely runs hot when you run full drag brakes. Decently smooth once you sort out the settings in the tuner.
I bought this because I've used their mini products and they work great. This is no exception, love the Bluetooth app.
The new Unity 10 is EPIC!!! I now have 3! Direct RC
Ships fast and it shows up within a few days. Impressed all the way around!
I ordered three of these motors through Amazon. I have installed 2 of the three, and upon testing in my hobby room, one is immediately dead. The motor is jumping, and it can't even turn the transmission. I believe the ESC has died. There is also evidence that it was at least hot enough in less than 30 seconds of running that it has slung solder from within. The second motor that I installed will get a test run tomorrow, as it seems to be working alright. Though, if it performs anything like the first one, I will be returning all three. I have 2 Furitek komodo setups in my scx24's and love them.. which is why I decided to give their 10th scale set up a try. I've been building and playing hard with crawlers for the past 5 years, and my faith in this setup is not looking too good.
I like the compactness.
I don't like that it overheated on the first time out. I've made some changes mechanically and in the settings to see if that fixes the issue.
So I've only installed and tested in my home but I really like it so far and the fact that you can adjust on the fly from your phone is a big advancement for the RC community in crawling, will do actual test this weekend to see how well it does.
