I never cared for the velcro on the micro-b. The velcro would either come undone or the adhesive would fail causing the body to pop off and I just didn't like ripping velcro apart to work on or charge my modded little racing machine. This post and clip are well more thought out and actually purpose built. Not once since has the body popped off and no more ripping velcro to open up the buggy. There are many great applications for velcro but to me this isn't one of them.
Why use the Velcro??? It pops off every race. Especially when you try to jam a little transponder under he body.
These little posts, superglue them on where the Velcro goes, drill a little hole in the body, and bam! Body never comes off during a race again. They should come from the factory with these!
